Hat Care Guide: Keep Your Vintage Cap Looking Fresh

1. Spot Clean Stains First

For minor dirt or spills, use a soft-bristled brush or lint-free cloth dampened with cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently dab the stained area—never rub, as this can damage the embroidery and frayed edges.

2. Hand Wash Only 
Fill a basin with cold water and add a small amount of gentle, bleach-free detergent. Submerge the hat and gently agitate the water to clean. Avoid twisting or wringing, which can warp the brim and distort the shape.
